This is my 2001 Fender custom shop 'Mary Kaye' RELIC strat (Mary Kaye models are very rare.) This was when fender were making the best relics of all time. The body and neck were both hand crafted by fenders master builder 'John Cruz' and both bear his famous 'JC' stamp. The guitar has a super light weight ash body and is very resonant, even when unplugged, the true sign of a superb instrument. It features a beautifully flamed neck with the custom shop logo on the reverse of the headstock and the guitar is stamped in all the usuall places with fenders 'custom shop' and RELIC logo's. Gold hardware throughout. The sound is simply awsome from those custom shop pickups and she almost plays herself. Comes complete with certificate of authenticity dated 2001, un-used leather strap, stickers, spare springs e.t.c. and tweed hard case. Don't miss this one as early Mary Kaye relic's are hard to find and are becoming highly collectable.
Selling to fund a Gretsch 6120 59-reissue, Brian Setzer model or a White Falcon 6136-LTV for my latest band project so if you have one and fancy a change then let me know ASAP.
